Men’s Guide to Choosing the Perfect Lingerie

     Our hats are off to you, because the fact that you are even reading this is a great sign!  You are spending hard earned money on your sweetheart…AND you want to be sure you pick the perfect item(s) for her.  A woman wearing lingerie is one of the sexiest things a woman can do for her significant other.  No matter whether she is a slender and petite Diva or a voluptuous curvy plus sized Goddess, wearing pretty lingerie is sensual and really empowers her femininity.  It is one of the joys of being a woman!

                     Remember these two things:

2-     Since this gift is for her, and we all know every girl loves a gift, don’t forget that to become the sex Goddess you desire, she has to feel fabulous in what you purchase for her.

       Here are some tips:

1-     Since it is all about her, think about what she already wears!  Is her clothing fun, boring, exciting or daring?  Does she wear bold colors and different styles or is she more demure and conservative?  Does she enjoy showing off her cleavage?  Does she like to wear short skirts or butt-hugging pants?  Just know that if she prefers knee length satin slips, wears a lot of black and is typically covered up from head to toe she may not be happy with crotchless panties or a bold leather corset.  In this case, a babydoll or a gown would be a good choice.  If your sweetheart is a Diva or a Goddess who is more on the daring and bold side, then consider a leather or vinyl corset or even a more risqué teddy.  Not every woman feels comfortable with baring her bottom in a sexy thong.  Put some thought into what body parts she feels most comfortable with and choose lingerie to compliment her.

           A few ideas:

• Show off nice legs in something short like a babydoll or short chemise.
• Play up good cleavage with a halter or corset style.
• Display toned arms with a pretty camisole.

2-     Colors:  Which hue will do?  Black is classic, white is popular as well, followed closely by red.  Blondes look good in pastels like pink and lilac, brunettes can pull of brighter hues like purple, emerald green or scarlet, while redheads do best with greens, blues and earthy tones.  Other safe choices are white, which looks good on most every skin tone and creams are quite chic.

3-     Size:  Oh my…this is the most important!  You cannot ask her as it would spoil the surprise!  Whether she is a Plus Size Goddess, or a Petite Size Diva, the surprise is part of the fun!  Anyway, if you did ask her she would probably lie and tell you a smaller size than she really is! To figure out the bra size which is important if buying a bra, corset or a bustier, check the label?  The number may be a 32 A or a 42 DD.  The number is her measurement and the letter is her cup size.

4-     The fabric:  It you just really enjoy touching the garment, she will enjoy wearing it.  Typically lingerie is made of fabrics that feel so good against the skin.  Velvets are rich and seductive, stretch lace feels incredible and is very flattering to every body type.  Charmeuse feels just like silk but is more affordable and easy to care for.  Stretch knits are clingy and conform to every curve, while Lycra’s squeeze just a bit and retain its shape.

5-     Comfort:  Choices of lingerie are many and varied.  So is the comfort of the items that you have to choose from.  For night time there are chemises, gowns, pajamas, teddies, babydolls and bra and panty sets.
